Vallarta Botanical Gardens has made a commitment to build an orchid conservatory to showcase The National Collection of Mexican Orchids. This unique conservatory will be the first in the country devoted to the over 1,200 native orchid species of Mexico and will be the largest collection of Mexican species on public display anywhere in the country.

We need your help. Our goal is to raise US $50,000 within the next four months for construction of the orchid conservatory. A donation of as little as $200 (or any amount) would be greatly appreciated. All donations are tax-deductable in the United States.

Vallarta Botanical Gardens is a 501(c)3 non-profit which opened in November of 2005. During this brief period, the Gardens have attracted international acclaim. Enclosed you will find some recent publicity about Vallarta Botanical Gardens. The Gardens already has an orchid propagation lab in operation. Vallarta Botanical Gardens were awarded research grants in 2008 from the American Orchid Society and from the San Diego County Conservation Committee.
